I'm so surprised you didn't mention retinol. I've been using it for about 5 yrs... over the counter, not RX. It's made a big difference in my skin. Takes a good 6 to 8 weeks to notice a difference, so patience is a must. I will never be without it. ❤

So I thought I was having menopause brain, but it turns out I just needed a CPAP machine. I don’t technically qualify because I don’t have that many moments of apnea, but I was so exhausted until I started using one. It makes a world of difference. I had gained about 10 pounds and the doctor said it could actually be that last 10 pounds of weight. The good news is I feel great and if I lose the weight, I could actually try not using the CPAP and see how I feel. I was curious about what you said about the workouts. Everything I’ve read says that too much stress during a workout for a post menopausal woman makes you create cortisol, which then makes you gain weight. What do you think?

I’m in that rut right now. I’m 45 but feel about 80! Gravity is kicking in, I’m exhausted, I’m putting on weight and I ache! I want to be positive and get active and regain some tone but my energy levels are rock bottom especially after a day at work and the stress of everyday life! Finding your videos are slowly making me see I don’t have to settle for feeling this way. Thanks!

Personal Trainer here and in Perimenoapause. I am so so pleased to finally hear these points from another in the fitness industry. It is a bit of a battle to inform people that go hard or go home 7 days a week can be overwhelming or counterproductive. Weak Pelvic floor!! Yes. Common, not "normal". Educating ourselves on our bodies now in our current age is so important and not consuming information that's not meant for you. Try monovision....take one contact out...the non-dominate eye...to be your reader eye. Takes a little getting used to but works great for shopping to look at price tags or look at menus. I had Lasik to fix my distance so I put a reader contact in my non-dominant eye and nothing for the distance eye.

Best thing I taught my granddaughter-I may love how this looks-and you may think it looks hideous-that’s OK!! If we were all the same this world would be Boring! 💗

As i get older, less makeup is more effective. I have been blessed with a smooth complexion with good color. A tiny amount of foundation judiciously applied, a dab of cream blush well blended, one coat of non waterproof mascara and creamy lipstick close to my skin tone and im all set.

Hi Tracy! I always take something away from all your videos and my take away is doing something about my sitting all day. I did not realize this until you mentioned it, so I will take 5 min every hour and do a quick walk, or some sort of activity and now be more mindful of not sitting for long periods of time.
